The Business and Consumer Affairs (BCA) Learning Community strives to offer well-defined articulated course sequences, and experiences that foster the acquisition of knowledge, skills, and attitudes necessary to prepare students for post-secondary study and careers in well paying, high-demand professions and occupations.
The vision of the BCA is to provide students with an engaging educational experience that builds a network of Career Technology Education (CTE) programs and business partnerships to meet college-entry requirements, increase the graduation rate, increase the CAHSEE pass rate, and make all students college prepared and career ready.
The BCA teaching staff is composed of a team of highly qualified teachers who work together to provide all students with a challenging, rigorous, relevant, standards based education. Teachers meet on a regular basis to discuss and develop new and innovative strategies to link all subject areas together in order to facilitate student learning.
